We spent Thanksgiving at my parent’s house in Aberdeen this year. Its obvious by the crazy amount of bath pictures I’m posting here that I didn’t really take a whole lot of pictures! Hence…this bath heavy post…Well, you see, there was an incident. I squirted what I thought was an okay amount of soap in, not realizing that with a jetted tub – less is more! This is what happened….
I had gone back downstairs and came up to find this all happening (Eric yelled for me to come). Kids thought it was AWESOME.
And this picture doesn’t even illustrate very well how much soap Eric had to scoop out and put into the shower to prevent major overflow. Whoops!
Good times, that soap was. Speaking of good times – be jelly of this hat! Many a turkey eater donned this fabulous hat over the weekend. This is Gma’s usual Turkey Day dance with her turkey. We had 2 turkeys this year – one done in the oven and one done in the Green Egg.
Avery enjoyed helping in the kitchen A LOT.
She was Gma’s right hand gal!
See – turkey hat! Here I am practicing up for the Hodgson Family Once a Decade Piano Championships to tentatively take place next Christmas. Early indications show that I will go home with GOLD.
And of course this hat gives me magical powers.
It’s my brother’s 30th birthday tomorrow and we had an early celebration for him on Saturday. Avery is so excited because she either thinks its her birthday or because there is cake. Maybe both.
Jon slid into this picture at the last second to sing “and many morrrrrre.” Caught him at just the right time!
See! Not a lot of Thanksgiving pictures this year. I was slackin! Oh well. I’ll try to do better at Christmas!
