Here we are in Garrison this morning after having our fill of the excellent Mexican omelettes. Getting a picture in front of the big fish is tricky when: a) there’s no one to take your picture, b) you have to leave your car in the middle of the road (it was the “tripod”), and c) the only person who knows how to run the timer on the camera is the pregnant lady and she’s not too fast of a runner at the moment. So this is the picture of Dylan and Daddy by the fish. To see the other pic – visit our Shuttercal site. I did the best I could.
And here are the pics of Dylan’s new room. The “Cars” are decals that can just peel off when he has grown tired of them. The pile of blankets are a “must have” for him at the moment. He loves to lay on them and hide under them. They also work well in our favor for getting him to take a nap or stay in his bed at night. “Stay in here or I’m taking away the blankets away!” “NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!” ha ha! Gotta do what ya gotta do!
And here is where I am at with Avery’s room. I painted it yesterday, so I’m getting there. Now I get to decorate it with accessories. I ordered her name letters for above the crib and I have high hopes in re-creating a couple of Pottery Barn Kids art pieces for the walls. I’m just relieved to have the painting done now. Is NOT fun with a big belly. And it’s putting my world record painting times to shame.
